Currently there is no description of the services, but the full 0.8 release will have a help system where an explanation of all the services etc will be.

I quite like sharpe but i have a problem here with the fact that when i open a web browser in say virtual desktop 1 then switch to virtual desktop 2 and try to open firefox it opens a tab in the program on desktop 1

They should appear in the bottom toolbar. Check your settings for the filters of the Taskbar module.

Architect, only themes are the ones that come with release. Work is going into release not theming. Once E# goes final there will probably be theming happening.
