Um, what skin did you try? im currently using minimal and the taskbar icons flash on new messages. Perhaps try setting the theme colours so that the flashing is more obivous?

Hey. I love how the shell looks, but I had one problem with it that bothered me enough to get rid of it. Is there any way to make it so that your minimized IM icons will flash on your taskbar? I couldn't stand not knowing when someone said something to me. If there is a way to fix this I will gladly go back to using the shell. I'm on Windows XP if that helps. Thanks!

That's funny I was having the same problem as shadowrazor for a while, and I solved it the same way... I haven't tried it out in the new version.

can you try it with another hotkey? Like Ctrl Esc (which is setup by default I think, and which works fine for me)

Yes, there's a menu with the name "Menu". I even tried it with another menu but the problem stays.

When I enter the hotkey the active window blinks but nothing more happens.. Isn't it possible that win xp x64 is the cause?

Check your menu config if a menu with name "menu" exists (maybe you have renamed it?). Try another menu...

But that's the command that I try.. "!OpenMenu: Menu" does nothing.
I also have the problem that I can't shutdown the computer when I use sharpe as shell

just !OpenMenu won't work. You have to specify the menu which you want to open. See the actions menu of the miniscmd button for examples. You have to use it like "!OpenMenu: Menu"

I use WIN VK_LWIN, but the key is not the problem, because it works with other commands. It's the command !OpenMenu: Menu that doesn't works
