I changed it to the way you have it and it was still a capital. 7. You should be able to click anywhere and have the menu disappear. 8. Clicking on another menu should work the same way as clicking outside the menu and have the 1st menu go away. If 7 and 8 are not working for you correctly what menus are you trying this with? are they predefined ones or are they user created? Maybe a screenshot would help. Thanks for the feedback also. What i mean by the arrow keys not working while is that when your typing in the fields you cannot move the cursor back or forth using the arrows, the mouse will move it however. I have noticed this annoyance as well. When I was importing my 'regular windows' desktop into #E I had to do an obscene amount of clicking whilst renaming the shortcut icons, because the arrow keys would not move the cursor. Also, am I missing something or is there no copy/cut and paste functionality in #E? This would have saved me a lot of time and trouble if I could have found such a common and essential feature. I'm using humble old Win2K, with capable, new hardware. I've attached a screen shot because I felt like it. (I'm new to #E by the way, and it is beautiful and impressive so far. Great job, guys.) It defaults to showing subfolder contents, box checked. If you have a folder with a few subfolders (lots of files), sharpmenu.exe will max out the cpu trying to display it all. The apply button does not show if you uncheck the box & so it will not apply. Only by typing in the filter box does the apply button appear. Minor, but be warned b4 you dump a folder on your desktop with the desktop itself as a dynamic dir menu item. [ Edited Mon Oct 19 2009, 09:44AM ]

I am running Windows XP SP3 and whenever I use SharpE I get a cannot connect message in both browsers. Has anyone had a similar experience or have any ideas what could be causing this? I tried Chrome and it seems to work, but I don't think I can go without Firefox. Thanks

I assume it works fine when you're in explorer? [ Edited Wed Oct 21 2009, 08:49AM ] Follow me for SharpE development updates.

I realize that there are major difference between the regular windows desktop and the SharpE desktop, I am just trying to figure out what my options are for trying to make it behave the way I want. Also, I rebooted my computer today and now one of my bars (toolbar with the memory monitor and volume control, etc) refuses to start and all of the objects I created on my desktop have disappeared. Also, the buttons on my taskbar will not launch the applications they have been assigned. I tried restarting the services, but to no avail. Any ideas what could be causing this?

But I'm in love with the sharpbars.. is there any way to maby use the sharpbars as a standalone together with explorer during those times I really have to use explorer instead? Ofc I won´t uninstall sharpe, only deactivate the desk etc during those times
