So far it seems to work pretty good. Although the user interface of the SharpCenter seems to be very slow. Another problem I have is the cursor during Browsing (Opera), which disappears constantly when I hover over text, buttons, textfields, well basically everything but emptyness. There's also a problem in the SharpCenter when I try to change a command for a hotkey. When I place the cursor at certain point and want to move it via keyboard to change a parameter or something it disappears too. That's pretty annoying. Apart from that: Really nice.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm Australian for a reason. http://www.yay101.org/

Depends on the menu I'm opening (Hotkeys opens up faster than Services for instance). My Notebook has an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 (2ghz) and 2 gigs of ram. I will try what you suggested with the cursor later when I'm back. Thanks.

I use the latest snapshot of opera beta (& ati tray tools), and it blazes. I have a hd2400pro card with 512mb mem and 1g ram on an amd @2.3 ghz. All good [ Edited Thu Nov 05 2009, 08:46PM ]

I only have an integrated graphics chip from intel since I'm on a business notebook here, but it shouldn't be the problem. At least I can run Warcraft 3 just fine on it. Apart from the relative "slowness" of the SharpCenter I have nothing to complain about. I get back to cry as soon as I encounter any other problems. Promise! [ Edited Fri Nov 06 2009, 01:31AM ]

But so far I was always blaming Opera and /or some multimedia/flash website I had open. Will also try to take a closer look next time it happens. I'll have a look at it later. Follow me for SharpE development updates.

Also, I rebooted my computer today and now one of my bars (toolbar with the memory monitor and volume control, etc) refuses to start and all of the objects I created on my desktop have disappeared. Also, the buttons on my taskbar will not launch the applications they have been assigned. I tried restarting the services, but to no avail. Any ideas what could be causing this? Try to restart the complet e shell check SharpCenter -> Toolbars if the bars are still there and just not running also check task manager if the bar is just not showing or really not running Problem solved. I switched shells to Explorer and rebooted, and then switched back and rebooted again and the problem disappeared. All is good as new. Also, is there an active desktop-like feature for #E? I created #E desktop objects for all of the files on my windows desktop, but they disappeared when I rebooted. After my desktop objects disappeared the second time I said screw it and didn't bother creating them again. In my opinion it would be nice if there was an option to display the contents of a specific folder (e.g. the windows desktop folder) on the #E desktop. I don't know if this feature would be possible to implement but it would really save me a lot of hassle because I wouldn't have to browse to my windows desktop folder to access the files there.
