Hey Eizu, perhaps use a menu to display the desktops content. The Sharp desktop was never designed to be a dumping ground like the explorer one so often is.

Within the appbar...
When there are multiple tasks, the previews will close when i click the icon. I would like to keep the task previews open when the icon is clicked if the icon has more than one task preview in it.

I like the functions as they are except for that.
I know i don't need to click the icon, the habit is just burned into my mind.

Trying holding down Shift while you left click. Also you can use middle click to close that instance, works with Shift also.

Scheme coloring

While the swatches show the proper colors, when they are applied to the final product they tend to snap to only a few colors. I can only get what seems like 2 variations of any color to appear on the bar. Other than white and black.

Hi,

I've been using SharpE for some time now, and it's an awesome shell. However, every now and then I get Access Violation errors and whatnot, when booting my computer (got same machine as Mr. Frostfire posted earlier). I'm suspecting the errors come when I switch between my Office "setup" and my home "setup" (got dual monitors on both sites, but at home I use the laptops monitor + CRT, at work I've got 2 LCD's configured). As I shut down the computer inbetween, maybe that's what's causing the problem?
Anyway, got some screenshots that may help, otherwise let me know if you need any logs etc:

Thanks for the screenshots and all the details,
and yes indeed - might be a dual monitor problem. Will try to take a look.

Are the errors only happening in SharpDesk and SharpMenu?
And when does it happen in menu?

The SharpDesk/SharpBar issue happens whenever I switch configurations and restart or hibernate inbetween (ie, if I undock the laptop and work, it won't throw any errors until I actually close the lid or reboot the machine, hence throwing the errors at the next startup/wakeup). Same goes if I shutdown the machine, switch "docking stations" (ie port replicator which is configured differently) and boot up the machine.

Unfortunately, I don't know more about the SharpMenu issue as this only has happened once and may have been affected by the SharpBar issue. I'll keep my eyes peeled for any more SharpMenu issues.

I found that the Alt+Esc hotkey will hide the sharpbar if it is selected as the active window. In the case that your sharpbar is set to disable bar hiding the only way I have found to return the bar is to kill its process and restart it. Otherwise you could just bring it up by clicking the area where it should be.

I found this bug, when you run sharpe the driver of NVIDIA dont load the personal settings of desktop color. In explorer load perfect

Lautaro, if its due to something not starting (dll initialization failed), its a known bug. However if its just not colouring your desktop id call that a feature of sharpe, as sharpe can do that kind of thing to its own desktop very easily, play around with the settings in sharpecentre.

Once however, the next build is released you should be able to use the old windows desktop as your desktop, and then it will work.
