Not entirely sure if this is the correct place to post this, but a quick question concerning transparency for skins.

Is it possible to disable transparency entirely? I'm personally not a big fan of the transparent taskbar, for I wish it was just one solid colour.

Thanks in advance!

Hey removing transparency should be quite easy, im currently under linux so sorry if this isnt too helpful, however there are transparency settings defined in the theme which can be changed via sharpe center. Have a little dabble. But remember colors are universal so the whole theme changes.

I'm Australian for a reason.

Where would i look, if i wanted to find transparency settings? Ive looked literally everywhere in the SharpCenter and came up with nothing. I found the "Glass" settings, but it only MODIFIES the transparency rather than remove it.

Also, thanks sooo much for replying.

Try changing:
Themes -> Edit -> Schemes -> Edit -> Background Alpha

You will also see Alpha settings for Menu and Border you can mess with.

I don't think we had someone ask this before. I just looked and I'm going to have to say no. I'm guessing you are looking for a very minimalistic look?

There is no global way to disable the icons in the taskbar since this is defined by the skins. It is possible for a skin to not display the icons, but currently there is no skin which is doing this. It's a good point however to maybe change the compact drawing modes of the taskbar to not have icons.

If you want to change this, what you can do right now is edit a skin yourself.
go to SharpE\Skins\ and into the directory of the skin you want to change, edit skin.xml and search for < compact >. There you have a section < icon > where you can set < draw >1< /draw > to 0.
