hey sailors! i just created the beginnings of our compatibility database. it's just a list for now. me, create a database? HA! (i'm not too good to do it. in fact i just don't know how to code)

anyway keep it coming with the compatibility reports. i may have to bump this thread periodically lest it be lost among the other threads. when the list becomes publicly viewable i'll let you all know. for the time being, keep us in the know about the state of your computer's compatibility with #E. it's good for us to know!

Howsit, SilentPJ,
I came to #E to solve a solve a problem in my Win2000 shell/file management. I was looking to just "replace" those functions on the original system with another system and found Litestep & #E. I found LS to be too frustrating (Charlie don't program) and #E has better help/feedback. So...
The only problems I'm having are that my SharpBar crashes "ungracefully" on about 75% of startups, and the top 2 items in my SharpE Menu>Control Panel are just blank spaces (one doesn't seem to link to anything, the other is "Pixvue".
I'm using:
1.8 gig processor/1 gig ram
Windoze 2000
SharpE 6 - shell manager
Xplorer2 - file manager
Mozilla Firefox & Thunderbird
Corel 11 suite
Dreamweaver & Flash
Winamp & EvilLyrics
