Have to go into theme manager and select skin (already Highlighted though) and save.actually just selecting load on the theme will reset the skin. But it does this for me even with BB skin not just my custom one.Unfortunately I do not have screenshots and I am having issues reproducing it. I have since rebooted my laptop 3 times. I wonder if it had something to do with the first time I activated certain plugins that I had not used before...Here is what happened in more detail:1) Themed Bar looks ok and as it should skinned the way it should be2) added new plugin to sharpebar and the bar switches to default view (no skin at all) just using my system colors looking like the old bar. But the sharpe button still had the skin applied.3) open theme editor and reload theme and all looks well again.not sure what else I can say. If it does it again I will be sure to take screenshots. The not working shortcuts are different in windows 2000 and windows XP but I'm using an italian OS so maybe it's a problem associated with the names of the shortcuts.Another problem is: when launching an internet connection both the connection window and the my computer window show up. Just d/l'd 0.7.0.4 and I love the direction its headed. Anyways onto the bugs. I have only noticed a couple so far, nothing major.Running XP Pro sp2.Command Prompt (cmd.exe) doesn't show on the task bar. I can Alt-Tab to it.I am running SensiveGuard firewall. When minimized to the tray all pops associated with it appear in the upper left corner. Everthing else I am running in the tray works correctly.I also added a run command to the menu and it doesn't seem to work. I don't get any error or anything it just doesn't pop up.Need more info? There is usually a space where about one or two icons would appear and when I mouse over it, I get a tooltip for what it is but that's it. There's no icon and when I left, right, or double click in the space, nothing happens. Anyone know why? There are 3 message the tray has to handle. NIM_ADD, NIM_MODIFY, NIM_DELETE.The problem is that there is no Windows API for adding and handling tray icons. The result is that every application and even the Microsoft tray icons are adding and modifying tray icons in a different way. Some are sending NIM_MODIFY with a hidden frag to delete icons (instead of sending NIM_DELETE). Other apps are sending you 10 NIM_MODIFY message befoer even sending one NIM_ADD for the app. Before the last fix tray icons where added on NIM_ADD and NIM_MODIFY - but this caused many bugs with such badly written applications. The fix is that now only icons are added on NIM_ADD and that's the way it's done in explorer too.In explorer when the explorer shell crashes and you restart it you sometimes are losing some icons, same happens now in SharpE. The reason simply is that those apps you lose are not sending a NIM_ADD when the shell is restarted (we can't do anything about this, it's the apps fault - happens in explorer too). So the second fix in the tray is that the tray is started first, before startup and all other apps.Which icons aren't displaying for you? (which apps) Billi Berserker<billiberserker@nospam.com> Wed, 31 Dec 1969 17:00:00 -0800 http://www.sharpe-shell.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?3735 Re: [0.7.0.4] Bugs http://www.sharpe-shell.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?3735 SuS said ...@Billi: I have additional information regarding said ..."Access violation at address 004FC770 in module 'vcl90.bpl'. Because even if I turn off the external monitor and boot, Windows will sometimes designate the external monitor as primary. Again, SharpE loads as the settings of Windows are. If the external monitor is primary then SharpE will use that as primary monitor. The problem occurs when SharpE is fully loaded. It is like it realises that the monitor setup is reversed and decides to reload. The laptop monitor is set as primary and the external as secundary. Then the boundary issues with SharpBar occur (access violation error). A kill and start of SharpCore is the fix.I hope I am a bit clearer now SuS<ezrider@nospam.com> Wed, 31 Dec 1969 17:00:00 -0800 http://www.sharpe-shell.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?3735 Re: [0.7.0.4] Bugs http://www.sharpe-shell.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?3735 Billi Berserker said ...Which icons aren't displaying for you? (Maybe I'm going a little over the top with the bug reports here :P) Teamspeak 2, when minimized to the tray, will reappear when the tray icon is clicked, but it is permanently non-focused, you can't even click on the window itself to give it focus again. A workaround is to disable the tray icon from within Teamspeak, at which point it minimizes to the standard application bar, and restores fine. This issue also occurred in CVS6. Adding a hotkey for Explorer mapped to Win+E works fine, however when I reopen the hotkey dialog the list is empty. Oking it and hitting Win+E still works, so I'm assuming it's just not redrawing the list correctly. Doesn't matter what. In this case it notices the 'read-only' and generates the read-only error. This was the easiest way to show a themes.xml related error.Makes no difference if you change the theme.xml to read-write again. SharpTheme just generates errors. So Billi, for entertainment purposes only the original problem:================== 8< ===================Settings: 0.7.0.4 buildTheme; DefaultSkin: NeptuneWhat I did was the following:*) Edit Current Theme } Theme settings } Cursor:*) deselected "Use custom curor" No, I didn't make the typo, I just copied the text*) Save changes, close window: SharpE Theme ManagerError Message"SharpTheme" said ...Datei c:\sharpe.7.0.3\Settings\Global\SharpTheme\Themes.xml kann nicht geoffnet werden. I have the same problem with various desktop links. What seemed to work for me is to put it all in quotes, both the program and the parameters. Something like this: "C:\Games\Guildwars\Gw.exe" "-fps 20". I am at work so I can't look up the exact commandline but thats close. Ok..now to the bug:When I right-click on Sharpcore in the system tray and tell it to "Set shell to explorer" I get the following error:TrayMessageWnd: SharpCore.exe - Application Error The instruction at "0x400059d2" referenced memory at "0x00f733e0". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate program.I then get the same error with the following items changed: at "0x0051e870" referenced memory at "0x00f71124" "0x01781131" referenced memory at "0x017c2a28" "0x7c901010" referenced memory at "0x017c0f14"The last 2 lines are repeated over and over. I quit counting at 192 times. I then pulled up task manager and killed Sharpcore. The message quit after that. Restarted sharpcore and it seems to work fine. Also while this is going on the system tray has the following message in it: "SystemTray.service not running".I know..I know....if you are running a cool shell like sharpe why go back. hehe.I'll try this tonight and see if I get the same error on my notebook.Ps. Running DellGX520 3.4, 2GB, 160G HD. Brand new only about a week old.Sylaei Sylaei<sylaei@nospam.com> Wed, 31 Dec 1969 17:00:00 -0800 http://www.sharpe-shell.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?3735 Re: [0.7.0.4] Bugs http://www.sharpe-shell.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?3735 @SUS, thanks for the detailed report, will look into it@Sylaei,it's a know bug which doesn't seem to happen for all users.Try "SharpCore.exe -e" to set back to explorer.@SUS, Sylaei (yes both of you ):If you something goes wrong and you are getting an access violation then the only thing which normaly counts is the first error. Everything after the first AV (like tons of other errors, stuff stops responding) is mostly related to the first error. No need to count or get this much into detail about what happend after the first errors.Just restart the whole component to continue using it. Are you sure?[Yes] [No] [Cancel] > Yes'Windows Explorer has now been restored, this will apply on next reboot'[Yes] [No] ????Does this mean that SharpE is unsure and wants me to tell if the supplied information is correct? An [OK] seems more appropriate. Edit1: *oops* I clicked [No]"TrayMessageWnd: SharpCore.exe Application Error" said ...The instruction at "0x400059d2" referenced memory at "0x00ec8aac". The memory could not be "read".Click on OK to terminate the program[ok]And then I couldn't close the Application Error window. It kept on generating new error messages (not posted as requested).Edit2: The registry setting was indeed changed.
